周四元,第四军医大学药学系药剂学教研室主任、教授,药剂学和药理学专业博士研究生导师。获第四军医大学药理学专业博士学位,曾留学美国从事博士后研究。国家药品价格评审专家,陕西省药理学会常务理事、副秘书长,陕西省生理学会理事,陕西省药学会临床药理学专业委员会委员。

作为课题负责人承担国家863课题2项、陕西省科技创新统筹计划课题1项,陕西省科技攻关等课题2项、横向合作课题3项,参与重大新药创制、国家自然科学基金等课题10余项。获陕西省科学技术一等奖1项,发表科研论文100余篇,其中SCI收录论文30余篇,获授权国家发明专利5项。主讲药剂学、生物药剂学与药物动力学等课程,发表教学研究论文10余篇,主编校内教材1部,副主编教材1部,获军队育才银奖,第四军医大学精品课教员。曾荣立个人三等功1次。

长期以来主要从事新型递药系统以及药物代谢动力学研究。

(1)靶向递药系统研究:功能药物载体材料设计、合成及应用研究,靶向纳米递药系统的设计、制备、表征及活性研究。

(2)缓控释递药系统研究:缓释微球、脂质体、乳剂等剂型的设计、制备及应用研究,军特药控释系统研究。

(3)药物代谢动力学研究:药物转运、代谢机制及肠道吸收预测研究,纳米制剂细胞及动物体内药物动力学研究,新制剂生物等效性研究。
